If you take games individually, or knew what they were doing and how it got to here, it makes a lot of sense. So if you come at D3 through the lens of D2, you’re gonna have a bad time. Droprates aren’t bad sub Torment, or even early Torment. But remember, vD3 had much lower droprates, and once in Torment levels everything increases exponentially so droprates get absurd just due to the scaling of difficulty. Unlike D2, which was build a character and finger gear to support your build. It is a game about finding awesome, powerful gear and building around it. Understand what D3 is supposed to be and it makes sense.
